Ain Sukhna
Egypt has
many beautiful beaches some are more ‘’touristy’’ than others. Ain Sukhna is
very much an Egyptian resort as it is only about an hour’s drive away from
Cairo. The weather in the summer time is not as hot as Sharm El Sheikh or
Hurghada but still in its mid 30’s.
Most people
rent chalets in this area they are normally quite small with your basic
facilities included. Normally 1 or 2 bedrooms, a living room, bathroom and
small basically equipped kitchen. Chalets are generally what we know as self catering apartments with the
building laid out a bit wider and only go up 2 or 3 floors. They can cost anything from 500 – 1500 LE per
night depending on the time of year and there is no limit to how many can stay
in one chalet...so just bunk up....great for large families. It is at its peak
in the summer vacations and Festive holidays as Egyptians try to catch a few
days away.
There are
Hotels in the area Porta sukhna being the highest rated but is this hotel worth
it ???? hmmmm ...You pay around 1000LE

Around the
hotel grounds you can find many coffee shops and restaurants, children’s play
areas plus some children’s entertainment in the evenings and the great thing is
you don’t have to be staying at the hotel to use them... it is open to
all....
There is
always properties for sale where ever you go and Ain Sukhna is no different the
Amer group have made a complex for people wanting to buy holiday homes a bit
